EASTER EGG HUNT AT THE SHERMAN MUSEUM ON APRIL 19

Easter BasketsThe Sherman Museum announced today that they will host an Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn surrounding the building on April 19, at 1 pm. The Easter Egg Hunt will be included with one adult paid admission to the museum.

Younger children will be given a slight head start time. It is the first time an Easter Egg Hunt has been held at the museum in their 38 year history. “We want to offer something fun for the kids in the community, and hope they will return for future events like DINO DAYS,” said Office Manager Alee McKinney. While the majority of the eggs will hold candy, many of them will be filled with small toys and prizes from the museum gift shop. The kids will also have a chance to find FREE tickets to DINO DAYS coming in June. Children are asked to bring their own Easter baskets and arrive a few minutes early to register at the front desk.

The Sherman Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is: $5.00 for adults; $3.00 for seniors (Ages 60+); $2.00 for students (ages 6-18) and for those with a college ID; FREE for children 5 and under and FREE for museum members. The museum will be closed on April 18, in observance of Good Friday.
