The Pottsboro
Senior Center

The Heroine,
a 140 foot long western river steamboat built in 1832 was wrecked in 1838
between Jonesborough, Texas and Fort Towson,
Indian Territory. It is the oldest
archaeologically recorded vessel of its type and Oklahoma’s only documented shipwreck.
All are welcome.
Advance reservations for lunch are required by 9 a.m.
Meals on Wheels of Texoma provides lunch at no charge to anyone 60 years
old or over. Please call 903-327-3728
for reservations by 9 a.m.
on Tuesday or you may bring a brown bag lunch.
The Pottsboro Senior
Center is located at the
rear entrance of the Pottsboro Library, 104 N. Main,
Pottsboro and is open on Tues., Wed. and Thurs. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Pottsboro, Texoma Council of Government’s Area Agency on Aging, and Lake Texoma
