Friends of Hagerman host wild hog dinner

Friends of Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge will be holding their

5th annual High on the Hawg dinner on November 15, 2014 at the Refuge.  Wild hog BBQ and all the trimmings will be on the menu with dinner service from 4:30 – 8:00 PM.

The open air tram will be available to transport diners from the check in at the Refuge Visitor Center to the dining hall and back.  Donations of $10 for adults and $ for children 12 and younger are requested.  This is one of the largest fundraising events of the year, with proceeds going to fund activities and projects at the Refuge.  Tickets will only be available at the door.

Before and after the meal, the Country Roads Band will be playing 50’s and country in the Visitor Center.   A limited number of signed and numbered Ducks Unlimited prints wil be available for purchase in the Visitor Center, just in time for the figt-giving season.
