Area veterans, spouses and other job seekers will have the
opportunity to meet with 40-plus employers in one setting on Thursday, Nov. 13, as the Texas Workforce Commission, Workforce Solutions Texoma and partners hold a job fair at Grayson College.
“Hiring Red, White and You!” is an event designed to connect Texas veterans and spouses, as well as others looking for employment, with area employers who are looking for qualified candidates for a variety of positions. The 9:00 am- 3:00 pm event will be held in the GC Main Campus Sports and Recreation Center gym.
More than 40 area businesses and industries have registered to attend the job fair. Employers looking for qualified candidates include: Accentcare/Texas Home Health, Advantage Sales and Marketing, Alan Ritchey, Inc., Alorica, America’s Car Mart, Capio Partners, CableOne, Champion Cooler, Caterpillar Global Mining, Cigna, Clayton Homes, Emerson Process Management/Fisher Controls, Dialog Direct, Douglass Distributing/Lone Star Food Stores, Cardinal Glass of Durant, D&S Community Services, Fastenal, FedEx Ground, Consolidated Container, Future Payment Technologies, Kwik Chek Food Stores/McCraw Oil Company, Loralab Manufacturing, Lowe’s Home Center, Plano Fire-Rescue, PPG Industries, Rumber Materials, Snelling Staffing, Staff Right, TAPS, Texas Instruments, Texas Dept of Criminal Justice, True Blue Labor Ready, Tyson Foods, Trans Cable International, Texas Dept of Family and Protective Services, Volt Workforce Solutions, West Asset Management, Winstar Casino Hotel, Ruiz Foods and Zodiac Aerospace.
