Snow White Ballet

North Texas audiences have fallen in love with this annual presentation of Snow White Ballet and Darli and Anton Iakovlev, from the Connecticut Ballet, will bring this timeless and charming ballet to life June 6 at Kidd-Key Auditorium in Sherman.

Darli began her training at European Dance Studio with her Mother Ilona Nogarr, continued with GSA, Washington Ballet School, Tallinn Ballet School and graduated from North Carolina School for the Arts. She also graduated from Tallinn University with bachelor's in dance and choreography. She has danced with Vanemuine Ballet (Tartu, Estonia), Estonian National Ballet, Washington Ballet, New York Theatre Ballet, Albany Berkshire Ballet,  Akjun Ballet, Montgomery Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet and Maryland Ballet.

Anton trained at the Russian Ballet Academy from 1992-2000,earning bachelor of the arts while at the Academy. Anton has danced at the St. Petersburg Ballet, Russia, The Vanemuine Ballet (Tartu, Estonia), New York Theatre Ballet, Albany Berkshire Ballet, Akjun Ballet, Montgomery Ballet and Oklahoma City Ballet.

Recently they have both been dancing with Connecticut Ballet.

Denison Dance Academy's presentation of Snow White Ballet will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 6 at Kidd-Key Auditorium, located at 400 Elm Street in Sherman.
