On June 26 - 28, 2014, the Pottsboro Ministerial Alliance will again be leading
It is a cooperative effort among churches, businesses, service organizations, and individuals.
Volunteers from the Pottsboro, Hagerman and Lake Texoma communities will work side by side to help their neighbors. The community comes together as a whole to be one community to make a difference. Year after year volunteers from middle school up come back motivated and ready to give back. What they get out of helping someone less fortunate is something that drives them back year after year.
In the past three years, Great Days of Service volunteers built wheelchair ramps, replaced siding and painted houses, replaced floors, repaired sheet rock, cleaned houses, cleaned up yards, and more.
Volunteers, donations and suggestions for projects to work on are needed. If you can help, please call Project Coordinator Glen Murley at 903-821-2134 or any of the churches in the Pottsboro area. If you would like to donate, make checks payable to Pottsboro GDOS and mail to 15015 N. SH 289, Pottsboro, TX 75076.
