Kick Winter To The Curb Spring Festival

It’s time to say goodbye and good riddance to old man winter and celebrate

All the "kicking" begins on Saturday, April 5th at Pecan Grove Park West, located at 3200 Canyon Creek Dr., Sherman, TX from 10 am - 2 pm.If old man winter decides to rain on our day, the rain makeup day will fall on the following Saturday, April 12th.

Willie KickIt Band will be performing along with the Sherman High School Jazz Band, and performances by Tae KwonDo, Tribal Collective Belly Dance and the University of Gymnastics. 

Kite Contest for Most Colorful, Most Unusual, Smallest, Largest, Highest Flying, Highest Angle, Steadiest flyiing, Most Acrobatic and 50 Yard Kite Run (ages 6-14). 

The Bike Rodeo will be from 11 am - 1 pm featurins an obstacle course, bike safety instruction, Texoma cycling club ride  and free bicycle helmets to the first 100 youth sponsored by the Sherman Police Department and Texoma Bicycle. 

The fun day will also include Bounce Houses, Fce Painting, Food & Craft Vendors and more!
the arrival of spring. Everyone is invited to this free event. Pack a picnic lunch and bring your kites, bikes, and kids out for a day of celebrating the beginning of a new Spring Season.
