Lake Texoma is ready to have a Blast!


An Artic Blast that is!  Benefiting the Western Grayson County Special Olympics and 3 West Texoma Volunteer Fire Departments, the Artic Blast featuring the Polar Bear Plunge is the premier winter event on Lake Texoma. 
Where else can you have this much fun at the beach in February? Lots of different activities are going on all day so put on your best cool weather attire and join us!  Experience the 2013 Arctic Blast featuring the Polar Bear Plunge and you’ll be exposed to a spectacle like no other!
The day begins with the Polar5Krun at 11 am.  At 1 pm, registration for the Eskimo Park and Glacial Games begins and from 1:30 – 3:30 both youth and adults can participate in fun and wacky polar games. All afternoon enjoy live entertainment and more all in a carnival atmosphere at Cedar Mills Marina on Lake Texoma.

At 3:30 take the Pola Plunge!  Participants collect sponsorships and go “Jump in the Lake” for a great cause raising money for the Western Grayson county Special Olympics and Volunteer Fire Departments. 

The highlight of the event is the Artic Blast!  Enjoy a great evening that includes a wonderful dinner, dancing, fun and complimentary beer and wine to the melodious sounds of Class Act band.  Tickets are $30, Table for 8 with Reserved Seating $400.   It’s all happening at Cedar Mills Marina on Lake Texoma on February 16, 2013.  For more information and tickets contact texomapolarplunge.org or call 903-423-4222 Ext. 226.
